Repairing Corrupted Windows System Files
Problem: Over time, essential Windows system files can become missing or corrupted. This often leads to system instability, including random freezes, software glitches, or application crashes.
- Click the Windows Start menu, type Command Prompt and select Run as administrator
- Type the following commands one at a time and press Enter
- Please wait for each of the processes to fully complete before proceeding
- sfc/scannow
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
