No sound at all?

If your laptop has no sound, your audio might be routing to the wrong place.
  1. Open Settings > System > Sound
  2. Check the Output dropdown menu
  3. Ensure your laptop speakers (usually labeled as Realtek) are selected instead of an external monitor
